Firefly’s BBQ Thinks Outside the Box
Marlborough, MA: After Midnight client Firefly's BBQ recently opened its doors into The Backyard, offering fun in the sun and good times under the stars. After Midnight helped launch The Backyard at Firefly’s BBQ with a discrete identity, placemats detailing The Backyard Raw Bar and Beverage menu offerings and rules for Cornhole play, as well as its own page on the Firefly’s BBQ website with an easy-to-update schedule of outdoor music events. After Midnight continues to develop fresh marketing materials for The Backyard, which have so far included promoting special "Wicked Wednesdays” Raw Bar deals and two exciting "enter-to-win” contests co-sponsored by Samuel Adams Brewery.
The Backyard at Firefly’s BBQ is the perfect setting to indulge in Firefly's award-winning bar-b-que and southern fare, new raw bar and fresh seafood selections, an extensive menu of draft and craft beers and specialty cocktails. Comfortable outdoor seating arranged intimately around fire-pits offers a resort-style environment where guests can enjoy live acoustic music on the weekends, play Cornhole on grass courts and catch the game on big-screen TVs at the outdoor bar. The Backyard will also have live musical performances, so you can kick back, have a drink and fully enjoy the warm summer nights on Fridays and Saturdays and sunny Sunday afternoons.
“I wanted to create a space where you can go out with friends; eat, drink, watch sports and hear live music, all while feeling as relaxed as if you’re at home in your own backyard!” said owner Steve Uliss.
Firefly's full menu of classic bar-b-que and Southern fare is available outside, but wait... there's more...
Firefly’s New England roots have emerged in The Backyard, with the brand new "raw bar" featuring fresh oysters from all along the Atlantic seaboard, Jonah crab claws, a “drunken” shrimp boil and more. Mid-week is not to be missed as seafood lovers get the most shuck for their buck on "Wicked Wednesdays" when you can get premium oysters for $2 each and little-necks for just $1 apiece!
ABOUT FIREFLY’S BBQ
Firefly's BBQ has been a staple of great bar-b-que (and also an After Midnight client) since 2001, when it opened its 10,000 square foot restaurant west of Boston and fired up its rolling smokers, which cater off-site events all around New England. Winner of dozens of national BBQ awards, owner and pit-master, Steve Uliss has pioneered bar-b-que in the Northeast with authentic Southern-style cuisine and homemade sauces.
