Hybrik Wins Streaming Media Best of NAB 2017 Award

Las Vegas, NV: After Midnight client Hybrik has been recognized as one of the most significant innovators for the online video and streaming industries at NAB 2017, by the editors of Streaming Media and Streaming Media Producer. The NAB Show, hosted by the National Association of Broadcasters, is the world’s largest annual convention encompassing the convergence of media, entertainment and technology, where industry leaders present the latest advances in filmmaking, television production and content creation.
The 2017 winners were revealed, for the first time ever, in a live-streamed broadcast direct from the NAB exhibit hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center, on April 26th. According to Eric Schumacher-Rasmussen, editor of Streaming Media magazine, StreamingMedia.com and OnlineVideo.net, "Hybrik is a cloud transcoding company that really sets itself apart... they've introduced several new features including segmented transcoding, which allows them to encode a two-hour HD feature film in segments rather than as a single file, and encode the entire film in about six minutes...
